NFL Star Eric Green Accused of Sodomy by Transvestite

San Francisco 49er Eric Green was slapped with a $10 million lawsuit filed in a Florida federal court by a transvestite.

According to court documents, Green, 27, met Angelina Mavilia, 38, at a Scottsdale, Ariz., casino last year when he was playing for the Cardinals. The pair struck up a conversation and left the gambling spot thereafter. Green allegedly invited Mavilia back to his condo.

Court documents state that once they arrived at his home, Green got "extremely agitated and threatening." Mavilia then alleges that the cornerback sodomized her and warned, "This never happened. You'd better not tell."

In a separate action, Mavilia is also suing the city of New York. Back in October 2008, she claims she was dehumanized by members of the New York City Police Department after being arrested for trespassing in a Manhattan housing complex. She accuses a female cop of making her feel like the brunt of a very poor and disparaging joke. Mavilia said she was ordered to remove her undergarments by the police woman. Upon removing her undies, the cop stared at her genitals and mockingly proclaimed, "It's a girl!"

Mavilia said she was once again asked to strip down by a corrections officer before being placed in a cell alongside a man. She alleges that the officer made her feel less than human by belittling her and reminding her of the fact that she was not born a female. Mavilia accuses the officer of berating her about the plastic surgery job she underwent as well.

Former NBA All-Star Marbury to play with professional team in China

BEIJING — Stephon Marbury reached an agreement to play for a professional team in China.

Shanxi announced it was bringing in the former NBA all-star guard on Monday. In a release, the team said it expected Marbury to play his first game on Jan. 27 against Qingdao.

Wang Xingjiang, head of the Shanxi team, called the signing of Marbury "a reward to our fans" to help a struggling team.

"Marbury's salary is not an astronomical figure because by coming here he also hopes to open up the Chinese market and sell his shoes," Wang said, referring to the guard's line of Starbury basketball shoes and apparel.

Based in the northern city of Taiyuan, 400 kilometres from the capital Beijing, Shanxi is 3-10 and in 12th place in a 17-team league.

The 32-year-old Marbury played 13 seasons in the NBA with Minnesota, New Jersey, Phoenix, New York and Boston. He averaged 19.3 points in his career.

He played 23 games with the Celtics last season after a messy split from the Knicks.

In an interview posted on Shanxi's website, Marbury said he wasn't daunted by the language barrier.

"I'll communicate with the fans through my basketball," Marbury said. "I think this will be a unique experience. To go overseas to play ball, to live, for me it's a challenge."

Known for his YouTube online video postings and off-kilter sense of humour, Marbury had a turbulent tenure with his hometown Knicks, feuding with coaches Larry Brown and Isiah Thomas before leaving under a buyout last spring.

Having gone more than a year without playing a regular season game, he saw little action at Boston before becoming a free agent last summer.

Marbury joins another NBA alum at Shanxi: Nigerian centre Olumide Oyedeji, who played two seasons for the Seattle SuperSonics and another for the Orlando Magic.

The 15-year-old Chinese league has struggled with the loss of its biggest star, Houston Rockets centre Yao Ming.

S.C. Republican Lt. Gov.: Poor like 'stray animals'

South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer has compared those on government assistance to “stray animals,” saying that the reason you stop feeding animals is that “they breed.”


Bauer is one of the leading Republican candidates for governor and gained national prominence after calling on Republican Gov. Mark Sanford to resign after his admission to an affair with an Argentine woman. But Bauer now finds himself in hot water for his remarks to a town hall meeting on Friday.


“My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed,” Bauer said during a speech advocating that the government take away assistance to those who do not pass drug tests.


“You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply,” Bauer added, according to a report in the Greenville News. “They will reproduce, especially ones that don’t think too much further than that. And so what you’ve got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don’t know any better.”


Bauer, who grew up in a working-class family, said parents whose children receive free, or subsidized, lunches at school should stop receiving government benefits if they do not attend parent-teacher conferences.


“You go to a school where there’s an active participation of parents, and guess what? They have the highest test scores,” Bauer said. “So what do you do? You say, ‘Look folks, if you receive goods or services from the government and you don't attend a parent-teacher conference, bam, you lose your benefits.’”


The comments have become the focus of the state’s heated gubernatorial campaign, dominating headlines in South Carolina’s political press.


Bauer did not respond to a request to comment, but has defended the remarks by saying the “stray animals” comparison was taken out of context.

When George Bush was President, his administration watched over every tiny election, smeared people, bullied news organizations, got us into an unwise war, and on and on. Once every four years, when election time came, Bush would become kinder and gentler and pretend to care about more than his base.

Obama's Administration so far has ignored every election until its too late. HORRIBLE candidates have been allowed to run their fucked up campaigns with no leadership until its too late. The Democratic candidate for Gov. of VA in 09 and the Democratic candidate for Sen. of Mass. in 010 were AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL.. because nobody with power, or brains, but esp BALLS was paying attention.


Obama thinks that, just like Bush became "warmer" every four years, that he can "fire up" his base at every election while ignoring us the rest of the time. It dont work like that.. We need to see your staff (not just you) on every channel FIGHTING BACK, everyday!

Obama had better start paying attention to his base and FAST.  With The White House, The Congress AND The Senate,  Democrats have more power right now that the Republicans have had since the 1920's but power means nothing without BALLS.

PLEASE, Mr, President dont re-discover that your black when you get into trouble.. that tired trick might have worked for OJ and Prez. Clinton but it wont work for you because PEOPLE ARE SCREAMING FOR YOU TO USE YOUR POWER AND YOU KEEP PLAYING FOOTSY WITH REPUBLICANS ..... the people who voted for you and who you want to vote for your party are waiting for LEADERSHIP WITH BALLS!

You need talking points for all Dems around the country,  you need to tell the millions of people who fought for you in the past what we need to do ON A WEEKLY BASIS, you need to fight for what your base wants EVERYDAY YOU ARE IN OFFICE, and you need to STOP worrying about the NEXT election and govern now, you need to FIND YOUR BALLS!

The White House, The Senate and The Congress is a lot of power to people with BALLS. If you dont use your power, then you will just be a speedbump to another Republican Majority.  And you wont even have tha ability to say you did big things for your base and the country because YOU HAD NO BALLS!

One key to getting along well with people is knowing when to say you're sorry. Sometimes little comments or actions can hurt or offend others. Heavy workloads and stress may keep us from seeing how our actions make others feel. The little things can add up. It doesn't take long for someone to hold a grudge and for grudges to grow into conflicts. In most cases, if someone is offended by something you do or say, it's much better to apologize right away. That solves the small problem and keeps it from getting bigger.


It's hard to apologize. Many of us are ashamed or have too much pride. Sometimes we just don't know how to do it. Here are some tips that may make it easier to say you're sorry.


Take responsibility. The first step in apologizing is to admit to yourself that you have offended someone. You may know this right away, or the other person's reaction may let you know you have done something hurtful. But you must admit you have done wrong and accept responsibility for your actions.


Explain. It's important to let the person you hurt know that you didn't mean to do harm. At the same time, you must show that you take your mistake seriously. Recognize that your actions caused a problem for the other person.


Show your regret. The other person needs to see that you have suffered, too. Come right out and say you are sorry or ashamed. I felt bad the minute I told your secret. I'm ashamed of myself.


Repair the damage. To be complete, an apology must correct the injury. If you damaged someone's property, offer to fix it. If the damage isn't so obvious, ask What can I do to make it up to you? There may be nothing concrete you can do, but the offer must be sincere. I'll try to keep my mouth shut in the future. Meantime, let me buy you a cup of coffee. Another way to repair the damage is to send a note or a small gift.


Use good timing. Apologize right away for little things. For example, if you bump into someone, say you're sorry right away. Don't wait until the next day to apologize. However, if you have done something more serious, like insult a friend, your apology should be more thoughtful. A quick apology might seem phony. Take the time to sit down, look the person in the eye, and apologize honestly.


It's not about who "won" or who "lost." It's about keeping a strong friendship.

Here's Tiger Woods finally looking like the sex-crazed cad we know he is.

Showing off his guns and abs and glaring at the camera, Woods looks nothing like the good guy of the greens in the Annie Liebowitz shot gracing the cover of the latest Vanity Fair.

The menacing shot - never before seen - was taken in January 2006, long before the world learned the married father of two cheated on his wife with a harem of hotties.

In the accompanying article, Buzz Bissinger interviews some of the reporters who covered Woods for years to find out how the golf great kept his catting around under wraps for so long.

Bissinger also revisits the embarrassing interview that a then-21-year-old Woods gave to Charles Pierce of GQ magazine in 1997. Woods joked about lesbian sex and the endowments of black athletes - the kind of gaffe he never repeated once he signed with super agent Mark Steinberg.

Golf blogger Joe Logan says Woods listened to his handlers and became the Sphinx of the links.

"Tiger learned very well to talk forever and say nothing," Logan says.

Michael Bamberger of Sports Illustrated said that as a partly black man in a white man's game, Woods learned how to fly below the radar.

"What seems clear now is that he lived a very abnormal life all his life in a sport in which guys are very conventional," he says. "And if you are not conventional, you get ostracized right away."

Woods even kept other golfers at arm's length, "though he was always affable, never antagonistic," writes Bizzinger.

As the story hit newsstands on Wednesday, Elin Nordegren - Woods' scorned spouse - has been celebrating her 30th birthday far from her husband in the French Alps.

Although it has been widely reported that the Woods marriage is on the rocks and Nordegren has been photographed without her wedding ring, new photos purportedly showing the Swedish siren wearing her wedding bank surfaced and sowed more confusion in the ever-evolving Tiger Tale.

Nordegren, however, has an indentical twin sister - and she too, has a wedding ring. It could not be determined which sister was photographed with the bling.

Woods has been laying low since the scandal broke Thansgiving weekend.

Nordegren has reportedly told pals that her philandering husband left a cool $300 million in her Christmas stocking.

The report, in Britain's News of the World, said it's all part of Nordegren's plan to get hers - and keep their two kids in comfort - in a coming divorce battle.

Woods has not seen his two children - Sam, 2, and 10-month-old Charlie - for more than a month and had to mail them their Christmas presents, a source told the paper.

Photographs in The Daily News over the weekend captured a carefree Nordegren hitting the slopes at France's Chamonix ski resort, a wintry wonderland where the rooms cost $8,000-a-night.
