    "the" talking dog? I'm confused. Why "the"? This was written so that I would be tormented by why he refers to the dog as "the" talking dog. What is the rest of the story, was the crew briefed on the lookout for "a" talking dog? His delivery perplexes me. It's affecting my life, help - explain the evolution of this script.

    I agree. The word "the" changes the whole commercial. It keeps me awake at night.
