NubianNewYorkers - NEW YEAR, NEW YOU!! ! - Resolutions..

When someone makes a promise to you and doesn't keep it it hurts. It's one thing if they said they would try but a promise is a promise. It hurt us as kids and it hurts us as adults. In business and unkept promise is fraud.

Nothing hurts more though, then making a promise to yourself and not keeping it. That hurt is stored in the mind and the body and can manifest as anxiety depression or physical pain.

A New Year's resolution is like a promise to yourself.. Many are hurt because in the past they've taken it lightly. Do not make a promise to yourself that you don't keep. At the very least say "I will try to... " instead of "I will"

In the last 5 years I have surprisingly kept my resolutions and I will tell you my trick. There's a saying "You do not rise to The level of your goals you fall to the level of your systems."

Imagine you want to build a really tall tower of blocks. Your goal is to make it super high, but sometimes the blocks might fall over.

The quote is like saying, instead of just focusing on making the tower really high, also think about having some extra blocks ready. That way, if some blocks fall, you're not stuck with a short tower – you can use the backup blocks to keep building and reach your goal eventually.

It's like having a backup plan for when things don't go perfectly the first time!

I'm saying have a system in place that keeps you on track and has a built-in backup plan for when you fall short.

How do set up a system? I have an EASY answer for you...

How do you set up a backup plan? I have an easy answer for you..

OR search "Chat GPT" in your favorite app store and simply ask it the question. You will be surprised how fast and easy the answers will come.

Ask the question in normal everyday language, use as many details as you want and remember to ask for a "system" and a "back up plan" to keep your resolution.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:

I asked Chat GPT: "I find it hard to get motivated to exercise can you give me a system I can put in place to exercise more and give me a backup plan?"

HERE IS THE ANSWER IT GAVE ME:

" Sure thing! Let's break it down:

1. **Set a Daily Time**: Pick a specific time each day for your 10-minute workout. It could be in the morning, during lunch, or before dinner.

2. **Choose Simple Exercises**: Keep it easy at first with exercises like jumping jacks, squats, or a quick jog in place.

3. **Create a Checklist**: Make a checklist for each day you complete your workout. It's satisfying to tick off those boxes!

4. **Have a Backup Plan**: Identify three short, enjoyable exercises you can do in case you miss your scheduled workout. Examples: dance for 5 minutes, do 50 jumping jacks, or a quick yoga flow.

5. **Reward Yourself**: Celebrate your victories! Treat yourself when you hit milestones, like completing a week of consistent workouts.

Remember, start small, stay consistent, and be kind to yourself. If you miss a day, jump back in the next day with your backup plan. You've got this!"

It's that easy.. whether you want to save money, communicate more, communicate better, learn new things.. it's just simple as a free app on your phone or a free AI web page on your computer.

There is a system set up to help you keep your resolutions keep your promise to yourself and have a better year!

Subject: Embrace the Power of the Gym - Your Journey to a Better You!

 Dear NubianNewYorkers,

I hope this Blog post finds you in good health and high spirits! I wanted to take a moment to share some incredible insights about the benefits of going to the gym that might just motivate you to take that first step towards a healthier, happier you.

I understand that going to the gym can feel daunting, and it's completely normal to have reservations. We all have our reasons for putting it off - whether it's feeling self-conscious, lacking motivation, or simply fearing the discomfort of starting something new.

But let me assure you, my dear friend, that you are not alone in these thoughts and feelings. Many people have stood exactly where you are now, and with the right mindset, they have overcome their fears and reaped the countless rewards that await.

Now, let's talk about those benefits! Going to the gym is like opening a treasure chest filled with amazing gifts for your body, mind, and soul. First and foremost, regular exercise helps to strengthen your muscles, making you feel stronger, more capable, and ready to take on any challenge that comes your way.

But it doesn't stop there! Going to the gym also improves your cardiovascular health, which means a healthier heart and improved endurance. Imagine having the energy to do all the things you love, without feeling tired or out of breath.

Now, let's delve into the magical world of endorphins. When you exercise, your brain releases these incredible chemicals that are often referred to as the "feel-good" hormones. Endorphins can boost your mood, reduce stress and anxiety, and leave you with a sense of happiness and contentment that lasts long after your workout session.

And guess what? Regular exercise can also improve your sleep quality, helping you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the day. It's like giving yourself the gift of a good night's sleep every time you hit the gym!

Not only does exercise benefit your physical and mental well-being, but it also provides an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. By challenging yourself in the gym, you'll gradually build confidence and a sense of accomplishment that will extend far beyond the weightlifting or treadmill. You'll discover the incredible things your body is capable of and ignite a newfound respect and love for yourself.

I understand that change can be scary, but trust me when I say that the short-term discomfort of going to the gym is minuscule compared to the long-term benefits that await you. I believe in you, and I know that you have the strength within you to overcome any fear or hesitation.

Take that first step, my friend, and let the gym become your sanctuary, a place where you can not only transform your body but also nurture your mind and soul. Embrace the journey, and remember that every small step forward is a victory in itself.

If you ever need someone to cheer you on or provide guidance along the way, know that I am here for you. Together, we can conquer any obstacle and create a healthier, happier, and more vibrant version of you.

With unwavering love and support,

E-MAN

SELF HELP- GOT GOALS? START SMALL, START TODAY!!

LIFE LESSON- 90 days from today is April 1st (beginning of April). If you have a goal you cant afford to waste a day. It takes 66 days to form a new habit..the easy part is STARTING SMALL, the hard part is STICKING TO IT, but after 66 days it will be easier because the habit will have been developed.

Take one guy who never worked out who does ONE push-up today and does one, or more, for the next 66 days.... Take another guy who saves ONE dollar today, and saves $1, or more each day for the next 66 days.. After 66 days when the habit is established and the behavior carries on.. the guy who did one push-up today will be SEXY AS HELL on Jan 1st 2018 and the guy who saved $1 today will have money to spoil himself with on Jan 1st 2018.

What would you like to improve about your life? START SMALL and STICK WITH IT for 66 days.. develop the habit and change your life.
You are a HERO. Everybody knows it. But dont forget to help YOURSELF and not just the rest fo the world.

Good luck!
