THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM IN AMERICA IS A HOAX!

The presence of multiple brands of the same product in the market offers several advantages to the consumers. By having a number of different options, consumers can find a product that best meets their individual needs and preferences, rather than settling for one specific product. Additionally, competition among brands forces each company to continuously focus on improving the quality and features of their product in order to remain competitive. This leads to higher quality products in the market, since each brand is striving for excellence in order to differentiate themselves from their competition. Competition among brands also usually leads to lower prices, as companies strive to make their products as competitively priced as possible in order to stay competitive.

Having only two choices can limit consumer options and, without competition from different brands, companies may lack the motivation to innovate and create better products. This means that consumers may be spending money on a product that may not offer the features and benefits of a higher quality item. In addition, without competition, consumers may have to pay higher prices for the same product as there is no incentive to offer competitive rates.

From the perspective of a voter, having only two choices could lead to political stagnation and apathy, as voters may lose faith in their ability to choose representatives that best represent their values and interests. This could lead to lower voter turnout and less meaningful debate around topics that deeply impact people's lives. Ultimately, having too few choices could lead to a decline in civic engagement, which is needed for true democracy to flourish.

Limiting the number of political parties can be beneficial to the wealthy as it can make it easier to direct financial resources to particular ideological preferences, allowing them to influence political outcomes more effectively. This can give the wealthy more control over the policy decisions that are made, helping them to benefit financially while making it more difficult for those of different political beliefs to secure public office.

The illusion of democracy can be detrimental because it gives the false impression that everyone has an equal say in their government, when in reality, their voices may be overshadowed by powerful forces such as the wealthy or elites. This can lead to unfair decision-making that favors certain interests over others and can lead to systemic issues such as income inequality and a lack of representation for marginalized groups.

One way to establish more political groups in America is to use grassroots organizing. This involves recruiting volunteers, planning protests and events, and networking with other organizations in order to bring attention to an issue. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to establish a political group, depending on how much time and resources are dedicated to the effort. Additionally, grassroots organizers can leverage the power of social media to spread information about their cause more quickly and efficiently.

Multi-party systems offer voters the opportunity to express their political views more clearly by allowing for the formation of several different parties, each with distinct ideologies and platforms. This gives citizens more choices and allows them to select the party that best represents their own beliefs and values. Furthermore, multi-party systems provide a counterbalancing force to monopolizing power as they prevent any one party from gaining absolute control. This gives voters more power and representation in a political system.

DEAR POLITICIANS ON THE DEMOCRATIC SIDE...

Dear politicians on the Democratic side, I know that you are not reading this because you dont
listen to the people who vote for you, you spend most of your time arguing with Republicans..  You listen to Rush & Fox News to find things to repeat to show how out of touch they are.

If you are an elected Democrat and you actually care enough to read this PLEASE let me know.  Maybe you can take a look at THIS that I wrote November of 2012.

HERE ARE A FEW SIMPLE SUGGESTIONS:

#1 Republicans can distract you at the drop of a dime.. Why else would you squander 3 years where you
couldve been selling/explaining Obamacare?  You let 3 YEARS go by and waited til THE WEEK the law was to go into effect to start seriously explaining the law. HERE IS THE SUGGESTION: your number one political goal is to WIN BACK THE HOUSE.  Do NOT get distracted, EXPLAIN to the people the 17 districts you need to win and how you intend to win them.

#2 When you are in a negotiation with Republicans you have to ASK FOR THE MOON and then work back from there.. Instead of being reasonable and ten acting shocked when the Right-wing wackos ask for the moon. Because the result ends up being that the wackos get what they want most of the time.

#3 Sorry to say this but the President has been "enabler and chief" when it comes to Republicans. 2013 is THE FIRST TIME that Prez Obama actually dug in his heels and didnt reward Republicans for hostage-taking.

#4 Boehner acts like he's NOT Speaker of The House but Speaker of The Tea Party.  Even if a bill would pass with a majority of Congress people, Boehner wont allow an up or down vote because Tea party people wont vote for it. BUT... WHERE ARE THE HUNDREDS OF DEMOCRATS WHO WOULD VOTE FOR THE BILL?????  Why is it that ONE Republican wacko (Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Sarah Palin) can find a way to get the attention of ALL the media but 200 Democratic Congresspeople cant find a way to get attention??

#5 STOP sending me emails asking for money.. YOU DONT LISTEN TO THE WORDS WE SAY, SO DONT ASK US FOR MONEY!!!  Send out emails with bite sized talking points, send out emails showing you have a strategy not just for when you are attacked but a strategy to ATTACK Republicans!!  I have donated and NOTHING is more frustrating than giving money to someone who ignores you until its time to ask for money again.

OBAMA WINS ON HEALTHCARE FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

Healthcare fight was Obama's proving ground

The president chose a goal and held to it steadfastly. Now he must build on that momentum.

Rarely does a president bet everything on a single card, but Barack Obama did it on healthcare. Almost from the beginning, the White House was guided by one priority: Nothing must get in the way of healthcare. Everything else would have to wait.

Sunday night, the president who was criticized for winning a Nobel Prize without much of a record finally won a signature achievement -- victory on the kind of massive healthcare overhaul that Democrats had sought and failed to achieve for nearly half a century.

In the months ahead, Obama will face the question of whether his healthcare victory is a high-water mark for a now-exhausted administration, or instead becomes the leaping-off point for victories on other big issues, such as energy, immigration and financial regulation.

But what became clear in the healthcare debate is that Obama is a president with a combative stubbornness, one that was not often visible in his cool, above-the-fray public demeanor. And he has demonstrated that a president who picks a goal, adopts a battle plan and sticks with it, come what may, is not easy to knock out.

In the 14 months of the healthcare fight, Obama saw his popularity plunge 20 percentage points. Voters, whipsawed by high unemployment, lost savings and the other ravages of a devastating recession, boiled over in anger at a president seeming obsessed with his own priorities.

From the beginning, GOP strategists saw the healthcare debate as a chance to cripple Obama's presidency. Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) cast the stakes in military terms, predicting that a defeat would be Obama's "Waterloo."

In perhaps the White House's darkest hour, Obama suffered a stinging rebuke -- and lost the Democrats' filibuster-proof Senate majority -- when Massachusetts spurned a last-minute presidential appeal and gave the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy's seat to a Republican in a special election dominated by healthcare.

Yet if Obama wavered, it was only briefly. Even some Democrats counseled him to drop the attempt at massive change and settle for smaller healthcare goals. Although he toyed with the idea at least once, in the end he held fast.

And while he was criticized even within his own party for delegating to Congress the early shaping of the healthcare bill, Obama mobilized in the weeks after Republican Scott Brown won the special election in Massachusetts.

From that day, it was clear that the endgame for Obama would come in the House of Representatives. He fought with a combination of tactics that played to his strength -- campaigning -- but also required a skill that was less tested -- negotiating.

On both fronts, he showed a level of pragmatism that frustrated some of his most liberal and idealistic supporters -- a willingness to trade a perfect bill for a somewhat less ambitious one that could pass.

Exploiting the bully pulpit, he traveled to places like St. Charles, Mo., and Cleveland, and exhorted rank-and-file supporters with the rhetoric he honed during his 2008 campaign. He invited both Democrats and Republicans to a televised healthcare "summit" -- notable not for any breakthrough accomplishment but for underscoring just how far apart the Democrats and Republicans were on the issue.

As late as Saturday, he traveled to Capitol Hill to lead a rally of House Democrats.

In between such events, he and his aides tirelessly lobbied fence-sitting members of the House.

Obama bluntly told skeptical members that for his presidency to be strong, he needed them to pass the bill.

S.C. Republican Lt. Gov.: Poor like 'stray animals'

South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer has compared those on government assistance to “stray animals,” saying that the reason you stop feeding animals is that “they breed.”

Bauer is one of the leading Republican candidates for governor and gained national prominence after calling on Republican Gov. Mark Sanford to resign after his admission to an affair with an Argentine woman. But Bauer now finds himself in hot water for his remarks to a town hall meeting on Friday.

“My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed,” Bauer said during a speech advocating that the government take away assistance to those who do not pass drug tests.

“You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply,” Bauer added, according to a report in the Greenville News. “They will reproduce, especially ones that don’t think too much further than that. And so what you’ve got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don’t know any better.”

Bauer, who grew up in a working-class family, said parents whose children receive free, or subsidized, lunches at school should stop receiving government benefits if they do not attend parent-teacher conferences.

“You go to a school where there’s an active participation of parents, and guess what? They have the highest test scores,” Bauer said. “So what do you do? You say, ‘Look folks, if you receive goods or services from the government and you don't attend a parent-teacher conference, bam, you lose your benefits.’”

The comments have become the focus of the state’s heated gubernatorial campaign, dominating headlines in South Carolina’s political press.

Bauer did not respond to a request to comment, but has defended the remarks by saying the “stray animals” comparison was taken out of context.
