MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is a form of self-awareness training adapted from Buddhist mindfulness
meditation. It has been adapted for use in treatment of depression, especially preventing
relapse and for assisting with mood regulation.
It has been described as a state of being in the present, accepting things for what they are,
i.e. non-judgementally.

It was originally developed to assist with mood regulation and has been found to have considerable health benefits.
These exercises are designed to introduce the principles-

One Minute Exercise
Sit in front of a clock or watch that you can use to time the passing of one
minute. Your task is to focus your entire attention on your breathing, and
nothing else, for the minute.  Have a go - do it now.

Mindful Eating:
This involves sitting down at a table and eating a meal without engaging in any
other activities - no newspaper, book, TV, radio, music, or talking.
Now eat your meal paying full attention to which piece of food you select to eat,
how it looks, how it smells, how you cut the food, the muscles you use to raise
it to your mouth, the texture and taste of the food as you chew it slowly.
You may be amazed at how different food tastes when eaten in this way and
how filling a meal can be. It is also very good for the digestion.

Mindful Walking:
Here the same principle, while walking you concentrate on the feel of the
ground under your feet, your breathing while walking. Just observe what is
around you as you walk, staying IN THE PRESENT. Let your other thoughts
go, just look at the sky, the view, the other walkers; feel the wind, the
temperature on your skin; enjoy the moment.

RANDOM THOUGHT- If tires are black, why is the Michelin man white?

SHOULDN'T IT BE...

JUST KIDDING...

Bibendum, commonly referred to as the Michelin Man, is the symbol of the Michelin tire company. Introduced at the Lyon Exhibition of 1894 where the Michelin brothers had a stand, Bibendum is one of the world's oldest trademarks.

Since 1912, tires have taken on a black appearance because carbon is added as a preservative and strengthener to the base rubber material. Before then, tires took on a gray-white or light, translucent beige colour. This helps explain why Bibendum is white, though modern tires are black.

LIFE LESSON- Keep the faith & You'll never walk alone

When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

May God bless u and forever walk by your side!

Dont Support Companies Who Support A Racist

This young man says it better than I can, please listen..

Do you support racism? Do you support Trump using the NBC Show "The Apprentice" to sell himself as President? Do you support the racist birtherism that Trump has been trying to sell?

Well, these are the companies that are sponsoring Trump on NBC...

Enterprise Rental Car, Clorox, Sprint, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Walt Disney, and Groupon. On February 25, 2011, the following sponsors were also announced for the upcoming season: Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, 7-Up, OnStar, Australian Gold, Camping World, ACN, Omaha Steaks, Farouk Hair Systems, and Hallmark

Its time to call, email or tweet them to let them know why you're boycotting them and NEVER use their products or services again until they announce they are pulling away from Trump's insulting nonsense.

And "like" this little Facebook page I created called "Boycott Sponsors of The Apprentice"

THE DEVIL IS A REPUBLICAN

Evil men hide behind lies.. They TWIST the words of God to get their own way. Republicans FAMOUSLY are for tax cuts for the rich and for taking away aid for the poor..

JESUS CHRIST said.. "WHATEVER YOU DID UNTO ONE OF THE LEAST, YOU DID UNTO ME"

"On the last day, Jesus will say to those on His right hand, "Come, enter the Kingdom. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was sick and you visited me." Then Jesus will turn to those on His left hand and say, "Depart from me because I was hungry and you did not feed me, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink, I was sick and you did not visit me." They will ask Him, "When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?" And Jesus will answer them, "Whatever you neglected to do unto one of the least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!"  - The Bible

So don't listen to people who use the tactics of the Devil to twist the word of God and try to control the actions of man.

Jesus on How the Rich Get to Heaven (Mark 10:17-25)

17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
    Compare: Matthew 19:16-30; Luke 18:18-30

Jesus, Wealth, Power, and Heaven

This scene with Jesus and a rich young man is probably the most famous biblical passage that tends to be ignored by modern Christians. If this passage were actually heeded today, it is likely that Christianity and Christians would be very different. It is, however, an inconvenient teaching and so tends to be glossed over entirely.
